The QuickBuild process

Build it your way

Set your budget, choose the best build for you.

Everybody wants and deserves their own home. Our kit set build processes help make that Kiwi home dream a reality. First choose what type of build you want, from Kit set, to Shell Build or Full Build - whatever suits your budget. Next choose your level of involvement, from building it yourself following our step-by-step instructions, or working with your chosen builder or using our own QuickBuild service.

When we say build it your way, we really mean it.

Any special finish requirements can be discussed and locked in. These may incur additional charges but we will communicate these to you at the time. Kitchens & bathrooms are standard Bunnings, allowing you to customise your own home.

Step 2: Choose your build type

Kitset - build yourself
Build yourself

Kit set - build yourself

We supply all materials to your site and you build it yourself following our simple, step-by-step instructions or you employ your local builder.

Delivered to site in a 20' or 40' container.

1m access required for parts.

With our kitset homes you don't just get a pile of frames and a crate of gib.

You get all the wall panels, pre-cut and pre-painted. The bearers are cut to length and labelled and you simply have to follow the Assembly Manual and it will go together without problems. This is a trialled and tested method that has been used to build hundreds of homes.

Use your own builder

Shell build - we build to lockup

We supply all materials to your site then we construct the foundations, floor, walls, roof, windows and doors to a lockup finish.

Customer then either finishes the build themselves or gets a local builder to finish for them.

The Shell Build is so much more than a typical LWTF (Light Weight Timber Frame) build. You are not left with a skeleton of a house, but instead with a home fully insulated, painted walls and ceiling, with lighting cables in place, all the windows and external doors in and the ridge on.

In short - weathertight and secure.

With a Shell Build we will do:-

  • Foundations, bearers, floor, walls (internal and external) roof, ridge, and run the cables in the ceiling panels.
  • All insulation in place, so the house is warm  in winter and cool in summer.
  • All the skirtings and trims (except door frames and reveals) are in place (but they will need to have their fixings complete.
  • Shell Build does not include the furniture / rug shown.

Full build - we build for you

We send all materials to your site and we construct the entire house.

You walk in to your fully finished home.

We supply just about the entire house for you - foundations to ready to carpet. No furniture is included. We don't include drives, landscaping, services to the road.

Also comes in containers, and requires only 1m wide access.

Although we include most the plumbing and electrical parts (and the carpet), a Full Build does not include the cost of the plumber or electrician, nor the concrete to the foundations (about 2.5cum for a 95sqm home.)

Step 3: Move in and make it yours!
