Factory assistant

We are seeking a full time factory assistant to join our production team.

• Physically fit — Heavy lifting.
• Fast paced environment.
• Must be reliable.
• Hours of Operation are Monday to Friday 7am to 4:30pm, occasional Saturday mornings may be required.

Quickbuild homes is a Kit-set home Manufacturer based in Feilding. We Pride ourselves in being able to provide New Zealand with Warm, Affordable, and Strong homes that can be built in under 6 weeks. We include everything from piles to carpets, kitchens, bathrooms and so on.

We are constantly moving forward and would love an enthusiastic, motivated person to be part of what we do.

We are on the lookout for a factory assistant with a keen eye for detail and a mature work ethic to join our team.

You will be reporting to the Factory manager. The position includes the manufacturing and cutting of structurally insulated panels, assisting with general warehouse duties such as picking and checking inventory and preparation of items for dispatch.

Some key elements to this role are a great eye for detail, a keen focus and production orientated.

This is a physically demanding role with heavy lifting in a fast paced environment. Some weekend and overtime work may on occasion be required.

You will need to have the following skills and attributes:

• A keen eye for detail and quality with a positive attitude and sound personal attributes.
• Ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Working with a range of power tools, Experience not necessary as training will be provided.
• A restricted of Full New Zealand drivers licence and reliable transport.
• A forklift licence is preferable but not essential.
